Preparing for Surgery
The thought of your little one or adolescent having surgery can produce anxiety for both your child and you. One of the best ways to reduce anxiety prior to a procedure is to visit our hospital and meet our specially trained pediatric care team. Through our Pediatric Pre-Operative Orientation Program, families and pediatric patients are invited to tour St. Luke’s Pediatrics Department, operating rooms and family waiting area. Any questions can be answered at this time to help your child and family become more comfortable with his or her upcoming hospital experience.
For more information, please call the St. Luke’s Pediatric Department at 484-526-4430.
