Educational Design and Delivery


Our Learning Management System, My E-Learning, is leveraged to deliver Online, Instructor-led, Virtual Instructor-led, and Experiential training opportunities designed to meet the needs of  the Network’s workforce and the medical community. 



As My E-Learning system administrators, our team assists users of My E-Learning in the follow ways:



  1. Maintain the My E-Learning (MEL) platform
  2. Answer general questions about the training we deliver
  3. Help end users find training modules or events
  4. Enroll end users in desired training modules or register for events of interest
  5. Generate reports to monitor the completion of required training
  6. Coordinate classroom training


Program Planning


As CME/CPD Representatives, the Department of Continuing Medical Education team assists members of the St. Luke’s community in the follow ways:



  1. Provide materials, resources, and standards for interested CME applicants
  2. Increase access to CME/CPD educational events to decrease the need and expense for going outside of St Luke’s
  3. Liaison with commercial supporters and development office
  4. Maintaining and submitting CME program data and reports to Pennsylvania Medical Society, AOA, and ACCME accreditation agencies
  5. Preparing for accreditation site visits from Pennsylvania Medical Society, AOA, and ACCME accreditation agencies


Accreditation of Your CME Program


In order to ensure accreditation of their continuing medical education (CME) activities and other professional development (CPD) events for the St. Luke’s University Health Network, the Department of Continuing Medical Education works closely with physician activity leaders and coordinators. St. Luke’s University Health Network is an accredited sponsor for AMA and AOA-accredited activities.
