Schedule Prenatal Education Classes
St. Luke’s University Health Network is pleased to offer a wide variety of childbirth and parenting classes. Learning options include virtual instructor-led, self-paced, and in-person classes. Class capacities are limited so we recommend early registration to ensure you can reserve your desired date.
Classes organized by the trimester.
Second Trimester: 14 to week 27

Course Offerings:
St. Luke’s offers in person and virtual class options. Our virtual classes are instructor led, allowing families to have personalized interactions with our prenatal educators. Classes are available during scheduled times. Some classes are also available in a self-paced online format which allows patients to complete at their convenience.
Online video to review hospital paperwork, helpful tips to prepare for your hospitalization and baby and information on prenatal education classes.

Education on routine newborn care, changing a diaper, baby bath, and choosing a pediatrician.

Review of benefits to breastfeeding, milk production and supply, proper positioning and latching, potential problems and solutions, basics of pumping and storing of breast milk.

Informative education to help you prepare for delivery, stages of labor, pain management, and post-delivery care. This class is offered as a one 8-hour class or 3 weeks series that is 2 hours each session.

Our prenatal education programs offer self-paced home online courses to complete at your own pace in the comfort of your home. You will have access to the Prenatal Educator via email for any questions.
