Through our dedicated nurse navigators, childbirth classes and resources learn about what to expect in the hospital, we’ll provide you with comprehensive prenatal support, so you can feel confident about the journey ahead.

OB Nurse Navigators

An OB Nurse Navigator is a dedicated healthcare professional assigned to guide you through your entire pregnancy journey. They provide personalized support, education, and coordination of care. From initial intake to postpartum follow-up, the nurse navigator is your primary point of contact for any questions or concerns. They will help you understand your pregnancy, schedule appointments, and ensure a smooth transition into motherhood.

Classes & Tours

St. Luke’s offers instructor-led in-person and virtual, as well as online self-paced, class options. Our instructor-led virtual classes allow families to have personalized interactions with our prenatal educators. Classes are available during scheduled times. Some classes are also available in a self-paced online format, allowing patients to complete at their convenience.


For questions regarding prenatal classes, please call 484-526-BABY (2229). Assistance is available Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.


If the registration form is unavailable, that class, most likely, is full and you will need to pick a different date/time. We have had an amazing response to our classes, so please register early to guarantee your desired class.

INSTRUCTOR LED

Informative education to help you prepare for delivery, stages of labor, pain management and post-delivery care. This class is offered as one eight-hour class or a three-week series of two-hour sessions.


Class Fee: $100


Recommended during second trimester 28-32 weeks

This class is designed to support you through every stage of pregnancy, nurturing your body, calming your mind and deepening your connection with your growing baby.


Prenatal Yoga benefits include:

  • Building strength
  • Cultivating calm
  • Preparing for mental, physical and emotional journey of childbirth and motherhood

Cost: $25/class, monthly packages available. This class is self-pay and will not be billed to insurance.


Who should attend: Open to all levels and all stages of pregnancy – no prior yoga experience required.


Come as you are and leave feeling grounded, empowered and more in tune with yourself and your baby.


Class sizes are limited; registration is required.

Education on choosing a pediatrician and routine newborn care, such as changing a diaper and bathing baby.


Class Fee: $30


Recommended during second trimester 14-27 weeks

Instructional course on Infant CPR.


Recommended during second trimester 28-32 weeks

ONLINE SELF-PACED

Whether this is your first baby or your fourth, our ONLINE childbirth education class is ideal for those expectant parents who can’t attend a four-week series or one-day intensive childbirth education class due to work schedules, time constraints, or medical conditions.


Our on-line course is also a great refresher class!


The eight-chapter program is an interactive, web-based class that uses videos, personal birth stories, animations, activities and games to teach all the essential information parents need to know to prepare for their birth.


Your eClass registration includes:

  • Online access for 90 days
  • Access to our Certified Childbirth Educator via email if needed

Class Fee: $100 - for all registrants, including parents delivering at a St. Luke's hospital.

St. Luke's Baby Steps

Make every step count.

The walking challenge offers a fun way to stay active during your pregnancy. You can earn cool giveaways as you reach new milestones in your walking journey.

How it works

  • Walk regularly - Get outside and enjoy some fresh air. Walking is a great way to stay active and healthy during pregnancy.
  • Log your miles - Keep track of your miles in the St. Luke’s OB/GYN Baby Steps online group. Reach milestones and get free gifts along the way.
  • Register online - Receive a St. Luke’s water bottle to help you stay hydrated. Be sure to select St. Luke’s OB/GYN Baby Steps from the “Community Organization” dropdown.
