Dr. Daniela Hangan is an Obesity Medicine Specialist at St. Luke’s Weight Management Center.
Obesity is a complex medical condition which involves many organ systems. As an osteopathic physician, I emphasize a holistic approach as key to successfully treating an individual. This has framed my outlook in caring for my patients with obesity.
Dr. Hangan is a board-certified and fellowship-trained specialist in nutrition and weight management. Her clinical and research interests include malnutrition and comprehensive weight management.
Dr. Hangan is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and American Board of Obesity Medicine.
Dr. Hangan obtained her medical degree from University of Medicine Iului Hatieganu, in Romania. She completed her residency training at Mercy Health System, in Wisconsin, and a fellowship in clinical nutrition at Geisinger Medical Center.
