HealthyCORE Intensive Lifestyle Intervention

The Average Weight Loss is 1-3 pounds per week.

  • 12-week intensive lifestyle weight loss program
  • Focus on nutrition, behavior and exercise modification to promote a healthy weight
  • Features weekly weight checks and educational classes
  • Individual meal planning with dietitian
  • Meal replacement options available: Shakes, Puddings, Soups, Bars

VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet)

The average Weight Loss is 3-5 pounds per week

  • Ketogenic program utilizing nutritionally complete meal replacements as the sole source of nutrition
  • Very low calorie, low-carbohydrate, high protein diet ~800 calories / 50 grams of carbs
  • Dietitian follow up every 2 weeks
  • Option to transition to a low-calorie diet at any time

Conservative

  • Primarily managed by medical provider
  • Focus on nutrition, behavior and exercise modification to promote a healthy weight
  • Registered Dietician available to help with meal planning
  • FDA approved prescription weight loss medications may be offered with this program when appropriate

The St. Luke’s Weight Management Center is here for everyone. For most insurance companies to cover your visit and to qualify for weight loss medications, your BMI must be greater than 25. Additional self-pay options are available for individuals looking for services that insurance companies that may not cover.

Your weight loss provider will discuss medication options available to you. These can include oral and injectable medications such as Zepbound, Wegovy, Saxenda, Qsymia, Contrave and Phentermine.

A behavioral health specialist helps you examine problematic eating behaviors and find ways to break bad habits. They will also help you change the thought processes that lead you to overeat or sabotage your own progress.

Yes! You will receive discounted rates at our St. Luke's Fitness Center where an exercise physiologist will help you plan and maintain an exercise program. Exercise is crucial to the long-term success of a weight loss program.

The process of losing weight and growing accustomed to new ways of dealing with food can be difficult. Our center provides you with the support you need through group and individual sessions.
