St. Luke's Opens Newest Health Center in Leesport

St. Luke’s University Health Network is expanding its commitment to care in Berks County with the opening of the St. Luke’s Health Center in Leesport.

The 22,000 square-foot facility, at 60 Cherry Street in Leesport, will provide outpatient services, primary care, lab testing and much more for Berks County residents. St. Luke’s University Health Network plans a May 28TH opening for the facility, located just off Route 61 in Ontelaunee Township.

“This spacious, multipurpose facility further underscores St. Luke’s commitment to providing high-quality and convenient primary care and specialty services to Berks County,” Bill Moyer, St. Luke’s West Region President, said.

St. Luke’s Health Center in Leesport will incorporate multiple diagnostic, treatment, and rehab facilities. The Care Now walk-in clinic will be available to treat minor injuries and non-emergent illnesses in a friendly, local location. The Leesport facility also will provide access to primary care physicians, women’s imaging services, orthopedic treatment and physical therapy.

As part of its Care Now service, the Leesport facility will offer walk-in services to get an X-ray, have diagnostic lab screenings or conduct employment drug testing. Patients with cuts, sprains, rashes, colds or other symptoms can receive treatment in the center’s five Care Now exam rooms. Also provided: women’s health screening services, including mammography imaging and DEXA scanning technology that measures bone density and mineral content.

Primary care physicians there will meet patients in 14 exam rooms for a range of needs, including periodic checkups, school and sports physicals and return-to-work exams. The Orthopedic Physician space will serve patients with eight additional exam rooms.

In the center’s 3,900-square-foot outpatient Physical Therapy space, patients have access to three private rooms and a large gym for a variety of treatment needs.

St. Luke’s Health Center in Leesport represents St. Luke’s continuing pledge to serve the region’s health and wellness needs. St. Luke’s opened its Spring Township Health Center in Reading in 2024 and also operates health centers in Wyomissing and Exeter in partnership with the Berks County School Districts Health Trust. The Exeter location includes a St. Luke’s Berks County School District Primary Care office as well as a St. Luke’s Outpatient Physical Therapy.

Care Now hours at the St. Luke’s Health Center in Leesport will be 8 am - 8 pm Monday-Friday and 8-4 on weekends.
