Free fall prevention program for older adults at St. Luke’s

Founded by neurosurgeons, ThinkFirst's Mission is to prevent brain, spinal cord, and other injuries through education, research, and advocacy. St. Luke’s is proud to partner with ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation to provide the ThinkFirst to Prevent Falls program at all of our Trauma campuses throughout the year to educate the community on preventive measures to help reduce the risk of falls.

ThinkFirst to Prevent Falls is a FREE, 1-hour program that helps older adults and their families address concerns about falling and learn specific steps that can be taken to reduce falls. Discussions will include topics such as home safety, safety in the community, nutrition, the importance of exercise, the importance of talking with your physician, regular eye exams and understanding your medications.
