St. Luke’s Children's Hospital has expanded the reach of its specialized pediatric care with the recent addition of Amisha Jain, MD.
Dr. Jain, a pediatric pulmonologist, joins Ashish Shah, MD at St. Luke's Pediatric Pulmonology. Dr. Jain also joins Pamela Abrams, MD, pediatric endocrinologist, as Co-Division Chief of Pediatric Specialty Care.

Dr. Jain specializes in caring for children with asthma, chronic cough, recurrent respiratory infections, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other pediatric lung conditions. She has a special interest in helping children with vocal cord dysfunction and anxiety-related breathing symptoms, as well as those born prematurely who continue to experience respiratory challenges.
Dr. Jain joined St. Luke's after practicing with MedStar Health in Washington, D.C. She earned her medical degree from the University of Delhi, completed her pediatric residency at Winthrop University Hospital, and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Children's National Medical Center. She is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonology.
