Sharon C. Ravenelle, CRNP, women’s health nurse practitioner, recently joined St. Luke's Christmas City OB/GYN, alongside James J. McGuire, MD, caring for patients at the Bethlehem office.
“I’m happy to be part of Dr. McGuire’s team because the smaller practice size allows me to really get to know my patients and for them to get to know me,” says Ravenelle. “When a patient walks in for an office visit, I appreciate knowing key pieces of her life story without having to look into her medical records; this develops into a long term relationship built upon trust and preserves the high quality, continuity of care for patients.”
Ravenelle has worked exclusively in women’s health for 30 years, both as an RN and a nurse practitioner, with experience in multiple subspecialties including RE&I, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology, obstetrics and general gynecology. She completed her nursing degree at the University of Connecticut and her graduate studies as a women’s health nurse practitioner at Boston College.
