3D areola restoration is a form of paramedical tattooing designed to replicate the natural appearance of the nipple and areola complex. Through precise artistry and customized pigments, the tattoo creates depth, dimension, and lifelike detail. If the patient had nipple reconstruction performed by the surgeon, only the areola would be tattooed.
This treatment is commonly performed after:

For all appointments—whether it’s permanent makeup or areola restoration—I always build in time at the beginning for a brief consultation. This includes selecting the right lip color, mapping out brows, walking you through the lash line enhancement process and, for areola restoration, taking time to understand your story and goals. In our consultation, we'll chat about what you envision for your permanent makeup, discussing colors, shapes and styles that match your vibe. Since this service is all about you, we'll also consider your skin type and lifestyle. We'll snap some 'before' photos of your brows, lips or lash line. Then it's time for the magic! Using a special mapping technique, we'll show you exactly how your new look will take shape before we start tattooing. Once you love the design, we'll get to work creating your perfect look. Afterward, we'll snap some 'after' photos and walk you through the healing process and how to care for your fresh new look.
Before and during your procedure, we use a super-effective lidocaine cream and gel to numb any discomfort. Everyone's pain tolerance is different, but don't worry—we'll do everything we can to keep you feeling cozy throughout the whole process!
