Julia L. Marrash, MS, OTR/L

I specialize in Occupational Therapy and Neurological Rehabilitation, with a clinical focus on upper extremity motor recovery, cognitive therapy, spatial neglect and Parkinson’s management. I earned my Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University.

I am a Certified Rehab Stroke Specialist, LSVT BIG® certified, which means I have advanced training in an evidence-based treatment program that helps improve movement, balance and daily function for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other neurological conditions, DriveABLE certified, meaning I am trained to use a clinically validated assessment process that evaluates the cognitive abilities related to safe driving, and MoCA certified, indicating specialized training in administering and interpreting the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), a screening tool used to identify cognitive impairment.

I am passionate about working with individuals recovering from Stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury, and I use evidence-based neurological rehabilitation principles while tailoring care to each patient’s goals to promote functional recovery and meaningful progress.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and our dog, Louie.
