Integrated Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology Residency
“Welcome, and thank you for your interest in our newly accredited Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency! Our goal is to provide trainees with the necessary skills to reach their full potential as both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologists in an intellectually challenging, yet wonderfully collegial environment. If you have a passion for both the art and science of image-guided medicine and surgery and want to acquire the skills necessary to deliver top-notch and compassionate care to your patients, this may be the training program you are looking for.
Our IR/DR residents will be trained alongside 6 Diagnostic Radiology colleagues in a nationally recognized teaching hospital network that sponsors over 36 graduate medical education programs. Our Diagnostic Radiology program is also newly accredited and both programs had a very successful Match this year. Our first class of residents for both programs will be starting July 1, 2023. St. Luke's teaching programs are nationally recognized according to external benchmarks because we provide a better teaching and learning environment than most other teaching hospitals, with over 95% of all residents and fellows passing their board exams, and a third of our network's vacancies are filled with our graduates as we continue to thrive and grow our network. We are looking forward to welcoming our new residents on July 1!
We are beginning to prepare for the next Match cycle for residents starting in July 2025 after completion of a PGY1 clinical year. We plan on adding an ESIR track in the very near future as well.”
