Support a St. Luke's Fundraising Event

Support St. Luke’s University Health Network by attending one of our signature fundraising events listed below. If you are interested in organizing your own event to benefit a project or program at St. Luke’s, visit our Host a Fundraiser page. Create an Endowment

A named endowment may be created and designated to a specific program with a gift or pledge of $25,000 or more. When your endowment is fully funded, only a percentage of the interest earned on the fund will be spent each year, leaving the principal to remain intact in perpetuity.

Gifts of Securities

There are many benefits to donating long term appreciated stock which has been held for more than 12 months.

You can claim a charitable deduction for the fair market value of long-term appreciated stock (up to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income).
You avoid capital gains that you would otherwise pay if you sold the stock.
You can make a larger gift than if you sold the securities and donated the net proceeds.
It may help to lower federal income tax for the current tax year.

One of the easiest ways you can leave a legacy benefiting the health and well-being of your community is through a will bequest naming St. Luke’s as a beneficiary.
