Patricia Donovan, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician, has joined the team at St. Luke’s Palmerton Primary Care.

“I chose a career in family medicine so that I could form longstanding relationships with my patients and partner with them to achieve their physical and mental health goals,” Dr. Donovan says.

“I enjoy caring for patients of all ages.”

With Dr. Donovan joining the practice, St. Luke’s Palmerton Primary Care can provide more care to patients in the Palmerton area in its convenient location, explains Katie Garvey, Practice Administrator.

“New patients’ appointments are available within the same week and, for current, established patients, we now have more same-day openings,” Garvey says.

“At St. Luke’s Palmerton Primary Care, we want every patient to leave our office understanding the next steps in their care plan and Dr. Donovan's attention to detail and love of medicine go hand-in-hand to help us achieve this goal,”

A graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Donovan completed her residency at St. Luke’s Hospital - Bethlehem Campus, where she served as chief resident in her final year. She is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

Outside of work, Dr. Donovan enjoys spending time with her family, running, traveling, cooking and baking.
