Network Welcomes Northgate Internal Medicine
September 08, 2020

Fabio Dorville, MD; Hiralal Rana, MD; and Kaushik Kundu, MD, will join St. Luke’s University Health Network on September 1, 2020. The group, now known as St. Luke’s Northgate Internal Medicine, have practiced together for many years and will practice at two St. Luke’s locations: 1130 Delaware Avenue and 5325 Northgate Drive, Suite 201, both in Bethlehem.

Residents of the Lehigh Valley have come to trust the care of these physicians for many years. Some of their staff, including Joyce, the practice administrator, have been together since the beginning and they are all excited about embarking on this exciting new chapter.

“I’ve been with St. Luke’s for 40 years,” says Dr. Dorville. “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. I wouldn’t want my practice to be anywhere else. St. Luke’s not only talks its mission, it walks it too.”

Dr. Dorville has a long history with St. Luke’s, beginning with his own residency, then teaching as part of the St. Luke’s residency program (often voted “Best Doctor” by the residents). Now he’s coming full circle by officially joining the St. Luke’s Network. Dr. Dorville earned his medical degree from the University of Brasilia and completed his internship and residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem.

Dr. Kundu, a 22-year veteran of St. Luke’s, earned his medical degree from the University of Calcutta and he also completed his internship and residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem. “It’s wonderful to ‘officially’ be part of St. Luke’s again. I did much of my training here and I’m very happy to be back caring for my patients with all the resources of a network like St. Luke’s at my disposal.”

“I couldn’t agree with my colleagues more,” adds Dr. Rana. ”Our practice and St. Luke’s are partners in caring for the best patients in the Valley. We’ve been in practice together for a long time and we anticipate that we will be in practice for a long time to come as part of St. Luke’s.” Dr. Rana has been with St. Luke’s for more than 13 years and earned his medical degree from Baroda Medical College and completed his residency at Easton Hospital, now known as St. Luke’s Easton Campus.

Drs. Dorville, Kundu and Rana will practice at two locations: 1130 Delaware Avenue and 5325 Northgate Drive, Suite 201, both in Bethlehem.
