Mathai Chalunkal, MD, of St. Luke’s Hospitalist Group has been honored by the American College of Physicians (ACP) as a 2018 Young Achiever. The ACP awards this distinction to physicians who have demonstrated exceptional achievement and are among the next generation of leaders in internal medicine.
In addition to being honored by the ACP, Dr. Chalunkal will present at this year’s National ACP Conference in May. He recently earned his Certification in Physician Leadership for Hospital Medicine. He has been invited to present his capstone project, for which he received the highest score, as a podium presentation during the conference’s Early Career Physicians Presentation Session.
Dr. Chalunkal received his medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College. He completed residencies at Topiwala as well as St. Luke’s University Hospital – Bethlehem.
