St. Luke's Gastroenterology - Center Valley
I believe the care I provide must be tailored to every patient’s unique needs and situation and rooted in evidence from medical literature and clinical guidelines. I am committed to building strong relationships with patients and providing compassionate and comprehensive care, as I would want for a loved one of my own.
I am a board-certified gastroenterologist specializing in advanced endoscopy at St Luke’s Health Network. I perform specialized therapeutic endoscopic procedures related to the biliary tract and pancreas, among other disorders. I completed my medical training at Harvard Medical School and my internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Duke University. I pursued advanced endoscopy training at Emory University Hospital, where I was a faculty member and practicing gastroenterologist for eight years prior to joining the St. Luke’s family. With a focus on state-of-the-art techniques, I hope to improve patient outcomes through innovative procedures and personalized treatment plans.
Outside work, I love spending time with my kids, traveling, cooking and exploring new restaurants. I attended high school in the Parkland School District and have enjoyed re-discovering the Lehigh Valley with my family.

“Dr V Patel was running behind in the GI lab due to complex cases. She apologized and thanked me for my patience and went over my background. My case went smoothly and Dr Patel took the time on a Friday to explain my upper and lower GI observations. She left at 600pm. I really appreciate her care and dedication to solve my GI bleeding.”
