Family MedicineI grew up in the Lehigh Valley and attended Parkland High School and Cedar Crest College for my undergraduate degree. I went to American University of Antigua College of Medicine in the West Indies where I spent my first two years for basic sciences. For my last two years of medical school, I finished my clinical rotations in Harbor Hospital, Baltimore and Richmond University Medical Center in NY. I graduated from medical school in June 2010.
I joined a Family Medicine Residency program at St. Luke’s Warren Campus from June 2010-June 2013. Shortly after finishing my residency, I joined William Penn Family Practice as a full-time physician in July 2013.
In my personal/free time, my husband and I like to travel, try new restaurants and spend time with my parents.
Professionally, I like to teach my patients about healthy eating and importance of exercise during every visit to prevent chronic illness such as diabetes and hypertension. Our office treats all ages and wide ranges of medical conditions, along with making appropriate specialist referrals as necessary. I am very passionate about medicine and enjoy what I do and look forward to serve the Lehigh Valley Area and St. Luke’s for many years to come.

“There was some sort of holdup on route 78. I left 1 hour and 10 minutes before my appointment time to avoid this :(I FINALLY got to WHFP a half-hour LATE. I went ONLY to apologize in person for my no-show. Though they were ready to close up, the office person, Dr Chit, and the Tech, and were ABSOLUTELY ready to see me.I did not expect this at all. Like I said, I went to apologize. I had a concern about my heart, so Dr Chit and the Tech - I'm ashamed I can't recall her name, because she's awesome - not only saw me, they ran an EKG. And made an appointment with a cardiologist for the following week. Can't get better treatment than this!!!We live on the West End of Allentown and we go to WPFP because Dr Chit & Staff are The Best!”
