Thomas Hart, MD

I believe in taking the time to fully understand each patient's concerns and providing clear education about their diagnosis and treatment options. My goal is to ensure patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in the care plan we develop together. 

As a general surgeon with St. Luke's University Health Network, I provide surgical care for a wide range of conditions involving the stomach, gallbladder, small intestine, appendix, colon, skin lesions, and abdominal wall hernias. I perform both open and minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures in elective and emergency settings. 

Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, I relocated to Pennsylvania to complete my surgical training and be closer to my wife's family. I completed my General Surgery residency at St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem and was inspired by the organization's commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centered care. Following residency, I chose to continue my career at St. Luke's, where I am proud to serve the communities we call home. 

I am dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality surgical care and building trusted relationships with my patients throughout their treatment journey. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children, being outdoors, and following a variety of sports.
