“I was fortunate that the office was not too busy and the provider was able to spend ample time with me. Cutting patient care time is not in anyone's best interest. It might save a few dollars for St. Luke's, but in the long run, it could end up costing more. When the patient has concerns about their health, the more time they spend with the provider, the better the assessment which leads to better care as underlying conditions are uncovered. In the long run, it saves the network from expensive hospital stays and testing. I was very happy that Tammy was able to spend ample time with me.”
