I have gained abundant patient experience as a nurse practitioner for many years. My training in family practice has allowed me to care for individuals in all stages of life. I take great pride in treating patients holistically, not just the disease or problem. As the patient, your input is invaluable, and I believe every interaction should feel personal. Together, we work as a team to find the best options to maximize your health.
Joining St. Luke’s University Network as a nurse practitioner with St. Luke’s Palmerton Primary Care has allowed me to care for those in my community of Palmerton and the surrounding area. Born and raised in Carbon County, I feel it is a blessing to work where I live.
I obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Misericordia University, where I focused on educating patients about end-of-life treatment options. So often, it is not discussed due to various reasons, and I hope to continue to educate and advocate for increased discussions on this topic.
I am board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and am a member of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (PACNP), Lehigh Valley Chapter. Outside of work, I serve on the Palmerton Area School Board and am Vice-President of the Palmerton Concourse Club. I can often be seen running the streets of Palmerton. I am the mother of three children and a dog mom to my yellow lab. I have been married to my husband for over 20 years.
