Welcome and thank you for visiting! As a fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon and board-certified dermatologist, I specialize in the treatment of skin cancer, reconstruction, cosmetic/laser and procedural dermatology. Mohs surgery is a precise technique for treating skin cancer, designed to minimize the risk of recurrence while preserving as much healthy tissue as possible in delicate or cosmetically sensitive areas such as the head, neck, hands and feet.

I was fortunate to complete both my Dermatology Residency and Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology (MSDO) Fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Before that, I earned my medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine and completed a clinical research fellowship in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.

My research has centered on skin cancer, surgical outcomes, scarring, patient experience and rural dermatology. Currently, I serve on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD) and have had the privilege of serving in national leadership roles with the American Medical Association (AMA) and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

I grew up on a ranch in rural Arizona, where caring for animals and working with my hands nurtured my desire to become a surgeon. Those early lessons continue to shape how I approach my work — with precision, patience and compassion. Above all, I believe that trust is the foundation of quality care. With each patient, I value the opportunity to listen, connect and tailor treatment to their individual needs and goals.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy hiking, cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with my husband. I have always had a deep love for animals and find that time spent outdoors can be great medicine — just don’t forget the sunscreen!
