St. Luke's Spine & Pain Associates - East Stroudsburg
I am an anesthesiologist with additional fellowship training in interventional pain medicine. I believe patient care is a partnership requiring equal effort between the physician and patient. My goal is to provide compassionate care by listening and learning as much as I can about my patients in order to develop a treatment plan that heavily emphasizes improvement in function and quality of life. My treatment philosophy involves using a treatment strategy that minimizes the use of opioid medications and utilizes safe, minimally invasive procedures in properly selected patients.
I treat a wide variety of conditions including, but not limited to, degenerative disease of the neck and back, pain secondary to spinal stenosis, headache, complex regional pain syndrome, and diabetic neuropathy.
I am particularly interested in neuromodulation, including spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation and their growing application in treating chronic pain.
I earned my medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine and Ross University School of Medicine. I completed a residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship at Allegheny Health Network. I am a current member of the American Board of Anesthesiology, the North American Neuromodulation Society, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by hiking and running. I also enjoy taking road trips with my wife and our crazy puppy, Barkley. I am a big-time New York Giants fan and a lover of good music and good coffee.
