As a board-certified family medicine physician, my intent is to meet the needs of those around me while establishing long-lasting relationships with patients and their families.
I was raised in Bucks County, and I am very excited about the opportunity to serve my community to the best of my ability. My approach to family care has always been to first listen, second maintain openness and third create individualized patient plans.
Within family medicine I enjoy treating acute concerns and helping with preventative health guidelines. Common diagnoses such as depression, hypertension and obesity are mainstays of my practice. One of the many benefits of training with St. Luke’s has been working alongside many of the specialists. My many years of athletics, including collegiate volleyball, has shown me how to best work within a patient’s treatment team.
Within sports medicine, I offer non-operative fracture care, concussion management and orthopedic interventions such as joint injections for acute and chronic ailments. I work closely with athletes, physical therapists, athletic trainers and orthopedic surgeons to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal treatment. I truly love the ability to care for a young athlete’s injuries, and yet also their grandparents who may be suffering from osteoarthritis.
I earned my medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at Seton Hill, completed my residency at St. Luke’s Warren Hospital and my fellowship at St. Luke's Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Campus.
My years of training were made possible thanks to the help of my husband, Doug. Together we have two young sons. We love to spend time with our three dogs in the backyard, my local family at church, attending live music concerts and rooting for our Philly sports teams.
