I believe the best medicine begins with prevention, thoughtful listening and a strong partnership between physician and patient. My approach to care is rooted in taking the time to understand each patient’s concerns, carefully explaining their condition and working together to develop the most comprehensive and practical treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

I am a general gastroenterologist at St. Luke’s University Health Network with a broad clinical interest in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions. My clinical passions include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, innovation in endoscopic techniques and pancreatobiliary disease. I take pride in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, from common digestive concerns to more complex conditions requiring advanced endoscopic intervention. Preventive care – particularly through appropriate screening and surveillance endoscopy – is a cornerstone of my practice, as I strongly believe early detection and proactive management can significantly improve long-term outcomes.

Outside of medicine, I am deeply committed to my family and enjoy staying active with my children. I am an avid soccer enthusiast and enjoy both playing and following the sport. I also love traveling with my family and exploring historical sites, which allows us to learn, stay active and create meaningful experiences together.

“The nursing staff due to being healthcare and nurses week, should be giving a small bonus, or at some kind of elaborate luncheon, they went to above and beyond the professional regards of their duties to make sure that I was in the least amount of pain, my cares and concerns were met, and that doctors were advised a certain situations so there was no lapse in negligence in any way. Just optimum healthcare, I would highly recommend Geisinger St. Luke's Orwigsburg, Pa at any moment. Furthermore, there was a individual named Janel who did some liaison to go ahead and hurry up and get my G.I. Scheduled and taken care of. And there was a nurse maria and a senior nurse with over 20 years. Miss Elizabeth were phenomenal in my healthcare along with every other nurse that took over, including the youngest one Marissa. They all seem highly experienced and very knowledgeable in regards to their nursing treatment. The two nurses as 20 years of experience difference, or equal in the bountiful knowledge of healthcare in hospital policy.”
