Internal MedicineI am a board-certified specialist in internal medicine who believes very firmly that medicine is a calling. Taking excellent care of my patients and knowing that I have made a significant difference in their lives is part of what puts a big smile on my face and joy in my heart at the end of every work day. My goal as a primary care physician is to ensure that every aspect of my patients’ health is optimally tended to and that the patients go home knowing that someone truly cares.
I started my medical education and career at University of Port-Harcourt Teaching Hospital in Rivers State, Nigeria, West Africa where I got my allopathic degree. I relocated to the United States when I got married and went on to obtain my osteopathic degree from New York Institute College of Osteopathic Medicine.
I completed my internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Health University Network in internal medicine and joined Northern Valley Primary Care physician practice because we aim to take care of every aspect of our patients’ health. I love especially that I can see my patients for their outpatient needs and have the privilege to see them in the hospital if they get hospitalized. As such, they are confident that the doctors who know them are always the ones coordinating their health care.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my daughter eating good food (some of which I cook), reading novels and watching great movies.
