Family Medicine

Dr. Robert Dolansky is the Chief of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine. A native Pennsylvanian, Dr. Dolansky earned his BS in Biology at Penn State before graduating from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with an MBA in Medical Management. He joined the St. Luke’s network in 1995 immediately after his graduation from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing his internship and Family Medicine residency at St. Luke’s, primarily at our Allentown Campus.

While working in a traditional Family Medicine office, Dr. Dolansky began picking up extra shifts at St. Luke’s Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine Center, sparking his interest in this specialty. After opening the first St. Luke’s Care Now walk-in center in West Allentown in 2013, Dr. Dolansky was asked to become the Network Medical Director for Urgent Care Services and had the privilege of opening nineteen Care Now walk-in centers around the region.

As Chief of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine, Dr. Dolansky will ensure that St. Luke’s Care Now walk-in centers and our Occupational Medicine services continue to be a gateway to bring high quality medical care into our communities, inviting patients and businesses to become part of the St. Luke’s medical family.

An avid football and lacrosse fan, Dr. Dolansky also enjoys reading or relaxing with a good Netflix series in the company of his wife, Lori, a career St. Luke’s nurse; their two adult sons, Noah and Jacob; and the family dog, Milo.
