I am an adult endocrinologist at St. Luke’s University Health Network who has the pleasure and privilege of serving the community of Carbon and Schuylkill counties at St. Luke’s Miners Campus. My interest in endocrinology blossomed during my formal training years, largely due to a fascination with endocrine physiology and an appreciation of its complex role in overall health. The field of endocrinology is evolving quickly, creating new and exciting opportunities to optimize patient health and wellbeing. I hope to utilize current evidence-based practice and technology in collaboration with my patient’s goals and preferences so that they may make informed decisions about their care.
I received my medical degree from the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and subsequently graduated from an Internal Medicine residency at Morristown Medical Center. This was followed by a two-year fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Temple University Hospital.
Prior to my journey of becoming a physician, I worked in basic science research in Washington, D.C., and have several publications in medical journals resulting from that work. I have also presented numerous abstracts, posters and lectures on various topics in Endocrinology at local, regional, and national conferences. I am a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three daughters, being outdoors, listening to music and exploring local culture. I am looking forward to becoming a member of the Lehigh Valley community.
