My goal as a primary care family nurse practitioner is to deliver patient-centered, comprehensive and culturally competent care. I strive to empower individuals through education, disease prevention and holistic management, ensuring that every patient I serve feels supported in achieving their optimal health and wellness. I’m committed to partnering with patients and fostering trust and collaboration for better health outcomes.

My nursing journey began at St. Luke’s School of Nursing, where I earned my associate degree in nursing. I gained invaluable experience as a trauma step-down nurse at St. Luke’s Anderson, where I honed my critical thinking skills, learned to manage complex medical conditions and developed a deep sense of compassion for patients and their families during challenging times. While working full-time as a nurse, I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Moravian College, further solidifying my commitment to advancing my knowledge and skills. Inspired by my desire to impact my community significantly, I continued my education at Wilkes University, earning my Master of Science in Nursing and becoming the first in my Filipino American family to achieve this milestone. Growing up in the Philippines, where health care is often seen as a privilege, drove my desire to help people better understand their health and empower them to take control of their well-being.

On a personal note, I enjoy making memories with my partner and spending quality time with my large and loving family, including my over 20 nieces and nephews, who bring endless joy to my life. I find peace and adventure in hiking, kayaking and traveling, and I delight in trying foods from different cultures. Karaoke sessions are a favorite pastime, and coffee is my greatest weakness. One of my personal goals is to become fluent in Spanish, as I believe language is a bridge to better communication and care, especially in a diverse patient population.

I chose to work at Star Community Health because its mission aligns with my personal and professional values. Star Community Health provides accessible, high-quality care to underserved populations. I am passionate about breaking barriers to health care and serving as a resource for patients who may feel marginalized or overlooked. STAR Wellness offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most. I am proud to contribute to a practice that embodies compassion, inclusivity and excellence in primary care.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.

Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being the best score.
