RheumatologyAs a rheumatologic patient, I bring a unique perspective to my patients’ treatment because I deal with many of the same symptoms and take some of the same medications as my patients. I strongly believe in holistic treatment and understand firsthand the social and psychological impact of the diseases I treat.
I’m a fellowship-trained rheumatologist and a clinical densitometrist certified to perform bone density testing. I completed my internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Pennsylvania. As a rheumatologist, I treat autoimmune diseases that affect every organ system in the body. I am especially interested in osteoporosis treatment, fracture prevention and seronegative spondyloarthritides, such as psoriatic arthritis. During my training, I also presented original research at multiple American and international conferences, including the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) conference and the European Alliance of Associations for Rheumatology (EULAR).
A Lehigh University graduate, I am excited to once again be in the area, but now as an attending physician.
Outside of work, I enjoy eating and cooking international cuisine, traveling, writing young adult fiction, exercising and practicing my Japanese skills.

“Dr.RAJESH KUPPURAJU was excellent. He explained everything in great detail, showed compassion for what I am going through and took control. He was able to get my neurology appointment accelerated by many months and made a decision to start reducing my prednisone dosage as it was causing more problems to my overall health. Dr K is certainly one of the best Dr's I have seen in my lifetime. It seems in today's medical practice, so mant Dr's just write a referral and walk away as it is " not their problem anymore " but Dr. K has not done that and I greatly appreciate him and all he has done. Absolutely Great Dr.”
