English|YorubaI am passionate about preventive care and am a proponent of equipping patients and their parents with the knowledge needed to take their healthcare in their own hands. I believe nothing is too difficult for a patient and their parents to understand. I emphasize well-child visits where issues such as immunizations, nutrition, exercise, safety, developmental milestones and school or learning difficulties are addressed. I also ensure that my patients are seen for acute illnesses between their well-child checks. I act as a liaison between my patients and any specialists they may need by referring them to the appropriate specialists and helping them navigate the system.
A board-certified pediatrician who cares for patients from infancy to adolescence, I graduated from the University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Nigeria in 2004 and moved to the United States in 2012 for graduate study in public health at Harvard University in Boston. I have practiced pediatrics in various cultural settings, ranging from resource-poor communities in Nigeria to diverse and fast-paced New York City.

“This was our first time seeing Dr. Oladejo for a visit. Dr. Oladejo was extremely thorough, polite, and helpful during my son's visit. She expressed her thoughts on the best course of action and took our concerns seriously. She thoroughly examined Jameson and ordered an X-ray. Once the results were in, Dr. Oladejo sent a message with her interpretation of the findings and next steps to follow that night. The following morning she called me to make sure I saw her response for the test results. She also told me to let her know if I had any trouble scheduling a follow up with a specialist so that could reach out to them personally. Dr. Oladejo has been incredibly sensitive and supportive during this time where I do feel concerned over my son's health. I very much appreciate her bedside manner and would love to continue seeing her as our primary care provider. I would absolutely recommend her to other families I know.”
