St. Luke's Gastroenterology - Coaldale
St. Luke's Gastroenterology - Center Valley
I received my medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed my Internal Medicine residency at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. I went on to complete my fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Additionally, I have been published in multiple gastroenterology journals, presented at national gastroenterology conferences, and was nominated for the Golden Apple Teaching Award at Drexel University School of Medicine.
My practice is dedicated to the treatment of GI cancers, pancreatic diseases, and inflammatory bowel disease; however I treat all gastrointestinal and liver diseases. I am an active member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG). In addition to upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, I perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with fine needle aspiration (FNA), and video capsule endoscopy.
I joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2015 and I am excited to be living in Center Valley, Pennsylvania with my wife and three children. I enjoy playing tennis, running, reading, traveling, and rooting passionately for all of the Philadelphia sports teams, as well as the Scarlet Knights and Hoyas.

“This was my first visit to Dr. Martin's office because of an ongoing GI issue. The office staff and MA were very kind. I had a resident for half of my visit, and Dr. Martins the other half. Both doctors were patient and talked to me about my issue and ultimately had me schedule for testing to figure out how to solve it. Dr. Martins was attentive and respectful and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a GI MD.”
