St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Bethlehem
St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Stroudsburg
As a surgeon and father of two young girls, I believe in treating all patients as if they were a member of my own family. I take great pride in my ability to guide patients and their families through the stressful experience of a trauma or the correction of a debilitating deformity. My specialty training has provided me with the unique skills to treat all aspects of pediatric orthopedics from simple to complex.
I am a board eligible orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopedics. I was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH and completed both medical school and residency in Pennsylvania. Following my residency in orthopedic surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, I went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at Washington University/Shriner’s Hospital in Saint Louis. While in fellowship, I received extensive training in general pediatric orthopedics including trauma, sports medicine, and hip dysplasia. During my time in St. Louis I was privileged to be trained by renowned pediatric orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Matthew Dobbs, a world leader in the treatment of clubfeet. I am also passionate about deformity correction and am well versed in the latest techniques in limb reconstruction including computer assisted external fixation and the ellipse intramedullary lengthening nail.
I joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2020 following a short time in private practice. I am excited to bring my expertise as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon to the network, allowing families in the Lehigh Valley to receive specialized care closer to home.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two daughters. I am also a huge basketball and football fan, an avid fisherman and nature lover.

“It was my first time as a mom having to experience my child breaking a bone. The experience was traumatic for us both. Dr. Grimm eased my worries and reassured me during the duration of the appointment. I'm glad we were referred to him from the ER.”

“The receptionist was extremely kind & friendly. The nurse Brooke really made us feel comfortable in the room & engaged with my children which I really appreciated. She was kind & listened to everything I had to say concerning my daughter. The PA was very friendly, kind, and knowledgable. She listened to me thoroughly & did not make the appointment feel rushed in any way. She made sure Dr Grimm knew exactly what was going on & assured me that he would be able to help or at least give insight as to what might be going on. Dr Grimm ordered X-rays for my daughter's leg right away and the X-ray tech was extremely kind and patient. She made my daughter feel comfortable during her X-ray and even talked to my son who was there with me to make him feel comfortable as well. After the X-rays, Dr Grimm assured us he would do everything he could to help her, explained what he believed her diagnoses to be, and gave us at home instructions for care. He made it a point to comfort us about the situation and told me that I could call at at time if we needed or wanted to come back for a follow up or re-examination. He answered all of the questions I had, didn't make us feel like he was rushing our appointment, and he explained things simply and in a way I could easily understand. I highly recommend everyone at this office, their professionalism, kindness, and patience is truly unmatched.”

“St. Luke's orthopedics was wonderful. They asked my daughter questions and spoke to her about her injury instead of just speaking to me about her. They made her comfortable and getting a cast not scary. Thank you.”
