Specialities:
Family MedicineI'm a board-certified family medicine physician who joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in July of 2025 after 22 years in a private community-based practice. I take pride in providing primary care for my patients and fostering a strong doctor-patient relationship. I believe patient engagement and education are critical to achieving good health. I currently provide care to patients 18 and older. With my extensive full-spectrum primary care training, I can collaborate with patients to develop a tailored treatment plan that meets their unique needs and health care goals.
I have a special interest in the musculoskeletal system and dermatology. In my office, I can provide steroid joint and tendon injections, as well as simple skin procedures, including biopsies, wound care, and treatment and management of soft-tissue infections. I also have extensive experience in complex medical case management and working with geriatric patients.
I'm originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia and attended Jefferson Medical College from 1995 to 1999 after completing my undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown. I completed my family medicine residency training at the University of North Carolina (UNC) in Chapel Hill. I stayed in North Carolina for an additional three years after residency, serving as an associate faculty member in the UNC Family Medicine Residency Program. In this position, I taught residents from UNC in full-spectrum family medicine in a rural setting serving an underserved community, including rural emergency medicine, inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic care and obstetrics.
I moved back to Pennsylvania in 2005 to be closer to my family while raising my children. I volunteered for the past 12 years in my community’s youth boys’ and girls’ lacrosse programs, and just recently stepped out of my coaching role as my children are older. In my free time, I enjoy home improvement projects, gardening and hiking with my dogs.
