Dr. Michael Awadallah received his Bachelor of Science from St John’s University in Queens, NY in 2006. He continued his education at Columbia University School of Dentistry in New York, NY obtaining his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2010 and then subsequently, his Doctorate of Medicine from State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2013.

During his postgraduate time, he held residency with Kings County Hospital Center/SUNY Downstate from 2010 to 2016, followed by a fellowship in Oral/Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive surgery at North Memorial Medical Center from 2017 to 2019.

Dr. Awadallah has worked in private practice since 2016, as well as working as a professor at Weil Cornell Medical Center and an Adjunct Attending of residents at St Joseph’s Health. Before joining St Luke’s OMS, he served as the Chief of OMS at the East Orange VA Medical Center.

Dr. Awadallah is board certified in Oral Surgery and practices a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of oral pathology. He is an attending surgeon in the Department of Surgery at St. Luke's University Health Network.
