I am a dedicated board-certified family medicine physician and expert in lifestyle medicine, committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to individuals and families. With a focus on preventive medicine and holistic wellness, I strive to empower patients to achieve optimal health and vitality.
I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine Residency training at St. Luke’s University Health Network – Anderson Campus. I am passionate about promoting healthy lifestyle choices, and my additional training in lifestyle medicine has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to address the root causes of disease and promote sustainable behavior change.
In my clinical practice, I strive to take a personalized approach to patient care, integrating evidence-based medicine with lifestyle interventions tailored to everyone. Whether counseling on nutrition, exercise, community, stress management or sleep hygiene, I prioritize building strong patient-provider partnerships to facilitate lasting wellness.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I engage in an active and fulfilling life with family, various hobbies and outdoor adventures. I am a devoted husband to my wife, Eva, and a loving father to our three wonderful, very busy children – MacLaren, Jack and Luna. As a family, we find joy and rejuvenation in various outdoor pursuits. I am an avid CrossFitter and exercise enthusiast, thriving on the daily challenges and camaraderie of sports. As a family, we are also known to hit the slopes for snowboarding adventures in the winter and hike scenic trails in the warmer months. Whenever the opportunity arises, embracing a connection with nature and being as active as possible is a vital part of our daily lives.
I am truly honored to serve as a trusted healthcare partner to all my patients, providing guidance on their life journey to better health, well-being and longevity.

“Dr Dorcus is the BEST Doctor I've had in my lifetime. If every doctor I had to interact with listened as he does, and cared about me personally as he seems too our medical system would be stellar all around. The way it is now is a roulette wheel, aka a crap shoot.you try to find a great one like Dr. Dorcus, but they seem to be few and far between. My only hope is that he stays with St. Luke's and can remain my doctor for many years. Lately it seems like they stay a few years and then leave. How does a doctor really get to know their patients in that scenario? I keep hoping and crossing my fingers.”
