Margaret J. Young, DO

Each day I practice with the recognition of the inherent connection of body, mind and spirit. I consider it an honor to practice medicine and to be part of my patients’ lives, potentially starting at birth and continuing through their entire life, including all the major and minor, joyful and challenging moments in between. As an osteopathic, board-certified family medicine physician, I focus on preventative medicine while also appreciating my role in helping patients understand and manage complex medical conditions.

I am a Pennsylvania girl! I grew up in Orwigsburg and attended St. Ambrose School and Nativity B.V.M. High School. I was away from the area while attending college at DeSales University and medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and when I completed my residency in Williamsport, PA. I returned to my childhood community following residency, where I have been practicing medicine since 2013.

My hobbies include music, cross-stitching and hiking. I enjoy spending time and traveling with my husband and our three children.
