Lidiya Didenko Gouzi, MD

I am a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician at St. Luke’s University Health Network. I am a double board-certified physician in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, and I am dedicated to the treatment of sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, and arthritis. My practice focuses on applying evidence-based medicine and the latest advances from clinical research to everyday patient care. 

I specialization in diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound-guided joint and soft tissue injections, concussion evaluation and return-to-play management, fracture and dislocation care, regenerative medicine therapies such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and viscosupplementation, tendinopathy management, osteoarthritis treatment, and sports-related injury prevention and rehabilitation. 

As part of a multidisciplinary team, our colleagues offer patients a comprehensive, team-based approach to treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, degenerative joint disease, sports-related concussions, and overuse conditions. This collaborative model integrates the expertise of orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other specialists to optimize outcomes and support safe return to activity. 

I am grateful to be able to practice and help the community where I completed my Family Medicine Residency training. I am a wife and have two amazing dogs. I enjoy hiking, swimming, and spending time with my family.
