Surgery (General Surgery)Languages:
EnglishWhen a patient comes to see me, my most important job is to make sure they have an appropriate understanding of their diagnosis. The patient is then empowered to make an informed decision regarding their treatment options. I feel as though this establishes confidence in my ability to care for the patient to the best of my ability. Surgery isn’t always the best path forward for the patient. As long as the patient is better informed and content following our discussion, I have met my goal.
As a board-certified general surgeon, I can treat a wide range of surgical conditions. I am the most experienced robotic general surgeon in the area. The robotic platform has become an integral part of hernia, gallbladder, emergency surgery and colon surgery. Another large part of my practice is the treatment of benign breast disease as well as breast cancer. Other conditions I can treat include anorectal disease, skin cancer, and other lumps and bumps.
I am a native of Schuylkill County and am committed to serving the community. Outside of work, I enjoy a balance of staying active and taking some downtime. but also appreciate some downtime. I enjoy the outdoors, whether it's walking/jogging, golfing, or relaxing poolside.

The Patient Satisfaction Rating is an average of all responses to the care provider related questions from our nationally recognized Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey. Patients that are treated in outpatient or hospital environments may receive different surveys, and the volume of responses will vary by question.
