EnglishMy humble beginnings as a bedside nurse provided me with the foundation to continue my career, transitioning from hands-on care delivery to managing and directing patient care through a holistic approach. Approaching health care in this manner takes into consideration not only the physical aspects of care but also the patient’s emotional, social and spiritual needs, which contribute to their overall well-being.
As a family nurse practitioner with St. Luke’s University Health Network, I recognize that quality care encompasses not only diagnosing and treating diseases but also promoting overall health. Every patient and situation is unique, requiring a team approach with a common goal of achieving optimal health. As the “leader” of the team, I afford my patients the necessary time to discuss their current health concerns and answer all questions as we develop a plan together.
My area of practice is providing care to individuals aged five and older. With over 18 years of experience and numerous professional relationships, I am readily available to address a wide range of issues, from acute and chronic illnesses to preventive and wellness concerns.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my husband and two daughters, traveling and engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming and appreciating everything that nature has to offer. Being outdoors provides me with the opportunity to enjoy wildlife, as a variety of animals frequent our property daily to take advantage of the food and water I provide for them. In addition to our wildlife, I enjoy spending time with our dog and cats.
