St. Luke's Brodheadsville Family Practice
My philosophy in medicine is to treat the whole patient – including mental, physical, and emotional health. I like to get to know my patients on a personal level to understand their social, emotional, and medical needs. This allows me to formulate a treatment plan that will work best for each patient.
I am a family medicine physician whose practice is dedicated to the treatment and prevention of a variety of diseases.
I am a board-certified family medicine physician who joined St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2014. I treat patients with various chronic and acute diseases. As part of a primary care office, my colleagues and I offer patients a team approach to treating a range of medical conditions including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, asthma, COPD and acute illnesses. A major focus of our practice is preventive care through screening tests, annual check-ups, and immunizations.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. We enjoy being outdoors, especially hiking, skiing, and traveling.

“Some of these questions were pretty difficult to answer as this was only my first visit with Dr. Marek. My first primary physician retired last year and Dr. Marek had been recommended, so I made an appointment with her so that we could see if we would be able to work together. I was very happy meeting with Dr. Marek and believe that she might be a good primary provider for me.”
