Rheumatology

Rheumatology is a field that encompasses many different autoimmune and inflammatory conditions that are often chronic illnesses. These conditions are often complex, affect various body systems and can impact many aspects of a patient’s life. As a rheumatologist, I aim to help patients better understand their condition and improve their quality of life. I believe it is important to form a productive doctor-patient relationship so we can work together to develop an individualized treatment plan.

I received my medical degree from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then completed my internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Additionally, I am certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry for interpretation of bone densitometry and osteoporosis treatment. I also received my certification in musculoskeletal ultrasound from the American College of Rheumatology for use of ultrasound in diagnosing and treating rheumatic diseases.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading and trying new restaurants.
