I am a Pennsylvania native and attended Saint Joseph's University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 1979. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I was the first Lehigh Valley Pediatrician to be designated an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I am also a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. As the founder of Children's HealthCare and the Medical Director of the Lehigh Valley Breastfeeding Center, I am a strong breastfeeding advocate, providing all new mothers with breastfeeding guidance and support to ensure the lifelong benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and baby. When not seeing patients, I like to play piano and spend time with my wife, children and grandsons.
