I am a hematologist-oncologist with particular interests in breast cancer and blood cancers. I care for people with a wide range of blood disorders and cancers. I believe caring for patients with cancer is a privilege, and I recognize that every person’s experience is unique.

My approach starts with listening. I take the time to understand what matters most to each patient and explain medical information in a clear, honest and easy-to-understand way. I believe the best care comes from working together, and I partner with my patients throughout their treatment journey so they feel informed, supported and comfortable with their care. My goal is to provide personalized treatment that not only focuses on the disease, but also on each person's quality of life, values and goals.

Originally from Rochester, New York, I completed much of my medical training in the Southeast and Midwest before pursuing fellowship training at St. Luke’s. I chose to remain at St. Luke’s because of its supportive culture and team-based approach to patient care.

In addition to caring for patients, I am passionate about medical education and enjoy teaching and mentoring future physicians.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy running, swimming, cycling and traveling. I recently completed a mini-triathlon in Lake Placid, New York, and I look forward to continuing to challenge myself with new endurance goals. I also come from a large Greek family, and some of my favorite moments are spent with them.
