A few years ago, she successfully diagnosed my arthritis in my back when I presented with itching (as opposed to pain) by sending me for an X-ray right away. She also helped me with my diet to include enough calcium to prevent osteoporosis. Her main focus for patients I think is managing cholesterol levels and promoting physical activity - factors in many chronic diseases.”

“I arrived early at 2:00 for this annual care visit. My scheduled arrival was 2:15 for a 2:30 appointment. A receptionist was available. I had completed my electronic check in prior to the visit, so there was nothing to discuss. Instead of waiting the usual 15" to a half hour, I was surprised that a nurse called for me at 2:15. We traveled to a room and the nurse was very accommodating. I'm partially paralyzed and use a mobility scooter, so getting situated in a room with all the medical equipment is somewhat challenging. The nurse made it easy. Dr.Hotchkin arrived shortly after my vitals were taken. Our interaction was excellent as always. She has been my Primary Care Physician for over 2 decades, well before the Village Medical Center was purchased by St. Luke's. She is the sole reason that I've stayed with St. Luke's.”
