James J. Martin, MD

I received my medical degree from Jefferson Medical College with the distinction of being selected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, completed a three year Family Medicine residency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, PA, and hold a certificate of added qualification in Geriatric Medicine.  I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  In 2007, I completed training in acupuncture from the Helms Institute/UCLA Medical Acupuncture Program.  I am a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner as well. 

I enjoy and treasure the long-term relationships I have built with my patients through a wide range of medical interests; which include Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Aviation Examinations, and the treatment of neck and back pain utilizing Acupuncture. 

I have been part of St. Luke’s Physician Group since 1993 and am in practice with Dr. Videhi Patel at St. Luke's Nazareth Family Practice. 

I have lived in the Lehigh Valley since 1987 and have resided in Nazareth with my wife since 1993.  My wife and I have two grown daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, cooking, cycling, and skiing.
