Arthroscopy | Repetitive Motion Injury | Sports Injuries | Sports Medicine | TendonitisI believe that the best outcomes in orthopedic care come from truly listening to my patients, understanding their goals and developing a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. My approach emphasizes clear communication, education and the use of both proven techniques and modern innovations to help patients return to the activities they enjoy. As a former athlete, I believe a team approach, which includes the patient, provides the best outcomes.
I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with advanced training in shoulder and elbow conditions. Additionally, I have a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine. My undergraduate degree is from Villanova University. I received my medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed my internship and residency at Temple University Hospital. I pursued a traveling fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, Southern California Orthopedic Institute and Steadman-Hawkins Clinic.
My clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of upper extremity conditions, with expertise in shoulder replacement, upper extremity fractures, shoulder dislocations and elbow disorders. I specialize in both traditional and minimally invasive techniques, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, total shoulder replacement, reverse shoulder replacement and minimally invasive shoulder reconstruction. I utilize preoperative 3D CAT scans for shoulder replacement, allowing for individualized care. I also offer PRP injections as part of a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal care when appropriate.
Outside the office, I value maintaining an active lifestyle and strongly believe in the importance of movement and physical wellness. These tenets not only shape how I live but also how I guide and motivate my patients throughout their recovery. I maintain a hobby farm with my wife and enjoy a round of golf.
