St. Luke's Orthopedic Care - Stroudsburg
I am a pediatric orthopedic surgeon at St. Luke’s University Health Network, dedicated to helping children and teenagers recover from orthopedic conditions so they can return to the activities they love. I take pride in educating patients and their families, helping them gain a clearer understanding of their diagnosis and empowering them to make well-informed treatment decisions. My colleagues and I take a team-based, multidisciplinary approach to treating sports injuries, extremity trauma, limb deformities and gait abnormalities. While I always prioritize non-surgical options, when possible, I specialize in minimally invasive procedures to restore mobility, function and quality of life.
I grew up in Texas, where my siblings and I spent our days playing sports and helping on our family’s cattle ranch. My wife, a pediatrician, and I met in medical school in Puerto Rico before completing our medical training in Kansas. After five years of orthopedic surgery residency, I undertook a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the nation's busiest training programs led by esteemed experts in the field. Now, I’m thrilled to bring my expertise to the Lehigh Valley area and continue improving the lives of pediatric patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, staying active and listening to audiobooks.
