Family Medicine

I chose family practice based on diversity and patient mix. I thoroughly enjoy pediatrics and OB/GYN and family practice encompasses all of that. The beauty of family medicine is that it engages all generations… I have the pleasure of caring for folks making up three and four generations of families. I firmly believe that mutual trust is extremely important between physicians and patients.

I earned my MD from American University of the Carribean School of Medicine, and I completed an internship at Jersey City Medical Center and a residency at St. Luke’s Hospital – Warren Campus.

My clinical experience includes serving as associate director and as teaching faculty at Coventry Family Practice residency program. I have also served as an emergency medicine physician at St. Luke’s Hospital -- Warren Campus, and I am the founder of Village Medical Center in Phillipsburg, NJ, one of the first 100 recognized Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Homes in the state. I am a Diplomat and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine.

My administrative positions include serving most committees at St. Luke's Hospital -- Warren Campus. I served as president of the medical staff, chair of the Family Medicine Department and Medical Executive Committee and as president of St. Luke's Warren Physician Group.

Outside of work, I enjoy an occasional game of golf, spending time with family and friends... and my pug, Lola.
